Electric typewriter (DA4)
First generation Adler electric typewriter, from the early 80s. Plugged into test, and the tight writer works, however I discovered that the ribbon needed to be opened up and fixed, and whilst that was happening and the typewriter turned off there was a pop noise. I think it’s because the item is got dust in it and this may have caused a short circuit. So I cannot guarantee that the machine is working, however probably wouldn’t be too difficult to fix it and if you’re a collector of these types of things I’d rather go to you then be thrown into landfill.

BR5 St Mary Cray - foam chair/bed (St Mary Cray, BR5)
The straps holding the chair together broke soon after purchase so it is not much use as a chair without repair but is perfectly useable as an emergency bed and has hardly been used. There is a stain on the chair part from playing with slime which we can't get out but it does not appear on the sleeping side when folded out.
