Welcome to the Beckenham & Penge Repair Cafe, kindly hosted by Christ Central Church.
Join us on Saturday 31st January 2026 from 10am-1pm for a fun and eco-friendly event. Bring your broken items and our skilled and experienced repair volunteers will help you fix them for free.
Whether it's a wonky toaster, a wobbly chair or a moth holed jumper, we've got you covered. Let's reduce waste and learn new skills together. See you there!
Our volunteers will look at small electronics, if parts are needed, they will let you know where to order your part and when you can come back to have it fitted at the next event. We do carry some spares so if it is something simple, it may be fixed there and then.
If you have small furniture that needs repair, visit us to see what can be done, it may be a repair to exactly how it was or an upcycle to update your piece.
Do you have a treasured piece of clothing that has a stain or a tear or moth eaten hole and you are not sure what to do. Our experienced team can help you.
Please note: all repairs are at the discretion of our volunteers and, and all repairs will also require you to sign a waiver. Our repairers are experienced volunteers but cannot guarantee a repair.
Tea, coffee and cakes are available to purchase.

The Beckenham & Penge Repair Café is a community-driven initiative launched in summer 2024, bringing together skilled fixers and volunteers specialising in everything from small electrical repairs and woodworking to tailoring.
Our passionate team is dedicated to reducing waste and promoting a culture of reuse by giving items a second life. Since our start, we've been doubling the number of customers and items repaired at every event, proving the growing demand for sustainable solutions in Beckenham - and from January 2026 in Penge too at our new regular venue.
Whether it's mending a favorite coat, repairing a lamp, or fixing furniture, we’re here to help restore your cherished belongings.
