Join us at the Manurewa Repair Café and Mending Circle to breathe new life into your much-loved items. Our amazing volunteers will be on hand to help with:
🔌 Small home electricals
🔧 Woodworking
🔪 Blade sharpening (1 per person)
🔩 Small metal work
🧵 Sewing
✂️general handy person repairs
💻 A tech volunteer can also take a look at laptops, computers and phones — we can’t guarantee a fix, but we’re happy to assess them.
🚫 Please note: we’re unable to repair bikes or lawnmowers. For bike repairs, check out [Bike Hub Manurewa](https://www.beautification.org.nz/bike-hub-manurewa) during their opening hours.
☝️ One item per person please, unless time allows for more.
🕙 10am – 1pm
🧵Patch & Chat with the Mending Circle! 👕Got a tear, a button missing or a rip you’ve been ignoring? Bring it in! Join our cozy Mending Circle - a relaxed space where our friendly volunteers will guide you to mend your items. Tools, tips and light refreshments provided! Whether you're a seasoned sewist or just curious, everyone’s welcome.
No need to book — just pop in on the day, enjoy a cuppa, get free repair advice and help keep good stuff out of landfill.
Koha appreciated — your support keeps this service going for our community.

Bring your broken belongings back to life
Join Beautification Trust at our Manurewa hub for our regular Repair Cafés, where we inspire our local community to repair, revive, and restore their cherished belongings. At these free pop-up events, you can bring in your broken belongings and our skilled volunteers will do their best to repair them.
We are part of the Beautification Trust, a social enterprise on a mission to connect and empower communities to learn, love and look after our environment.
Since 2001, we've been leading beautification projects, community events and environmental education all over South and East Auckland.
