Got something broken gathering dust? Bring it along and let's fix it together.
Our volunteer repairers will help you with:
Small electrical items: toasters, lamps, radios
Clothing and textiles: mending, hemming, buttons (not alterations)
Jewellery
Bikes: punctures, brakes, basic tune-ups
Furniture and woodwork: wobbly chairs, loose joints
Toys and general bits and bobs
Computers
And more!
Cost: Free. Donations welcome to cover materials.
The idea is simple: reduce waste, save money, and learn a few repair skills along the way. You stay with your item while it's being fixed so you can pick up tips for next time.
No booking needed. Just drop in. If you have a specific item you're unsure about please go to our website or email us.

The Kensal Rise Repair Cafe runs on the first Saturday of each month.
How does it work?
It is a voluntary initiative to help reduce waste, share repair skills and strengthen the local community. We hope you will come along and visit us soon. In the meantime, our site has some useful information for visitors, but please drop us a line if you would like to get in touch.
We have teams covering electrics, electronics, sewing, woodwork, toy fixing, jewellery repair, ceramics and bikes.
People bring their broken or worn items to the Repair Cafe and our volunteer repairers help them to mend their things, teach repair skills, or give advice on what can be done. Visitors pay for any necessary parts and are asked to make a donation to the Repair Cafe running costs.
Coffees, teas and refreshments are available.
The Kensal Rise Repair Cafe happens once a month (with some exceptions for holidays), on Saturdays at St Martin's Church, Mortimer Road from 10:30am – 1:00pm
