दुरुस्ती कार्यशाळा मुंबई and नवी मुंबई चला ते दुरुस्त करूया
Bring something broken and mend it together or lend your hand in someone else’s repair job!
Make new friends and learn repairing without the fear of failure.
The Repair Workshop is a Community gathering where repairers and visitors come together to mend Bicycles, fabrics, and small household electricals. You can take help and guidance of our experts and learn to do it yourself. https://linktr.ee/repaircafebengaluru
No guarantees that an item can be fixed or won't be made worse during the repair. Visitors should pitch in for tidy removal of broken parts and objects.
Dear Visitors/Participants,
Repairing is a process with many steps:
Understanding the problem.
Checking if we have the tools and spares to fix the problem
Putting it back together
and finally, restoring the item/gadget in working condition.
Our efforts are to familiarize participants with the process of repairing/upcycling of their products, minimizing waste, and fostering a mindset of re-use and repair rather than discard.
To achieve this, we would like to list some house rules for the day so that we are able to cater to everyone and have a productive day.
1. We will have a queue/in a group at each workstation as only one repair can be handled at a time. To cut down on unnecessary waiting times during busy periods, a maximum of ONE broken item per person will be examined. The visitor can join the back of the queue if there is a second item for repair.
2. Visitors should carry out the repairs themselves whenever possible, but repair coaches on site will help if necessary.
3. Repair Café collective India nor the repair coaches are not liable for any loss that may result from advice or instructions concerning repairs, for the loss of items handed over for repair, for indirect or consequential loss or for any other kind of loss resulting from work performed in the Repair Café. The limitations set forth in these house rules shall not apply to claims declared justified on the basis of liability arising by virtue of applicable consumer protection legislation which cannot be lawfully superseded.
4. We will have repair coaches on the venue.
5. All spares parts will be used as needed only. Please note we may not be equipped with all kinds of spares and tools on the venue.
6. Please note certain repairs are time consuming and may not get done that day.
7. Repair Coaches making repairs offer no guarantee for the repairs carried out with their help and are not liable if objects that are repaired in the Repair Café turn out not to work properly at home.
8. Repair Coaches are entitled to refuse to repair certain objects.
9. Repair Coaches are not obliged to reassemble disassembled appliances that cannot be repaired.
10.We would like to encourage the public PARTICIPATION IN REPAIRING and not look at this event as a SERVICE PROVIDER PLATFORM.
11.Visitors offering broken items for repair do so at their own risk.
12. Visitors to Repair Café are solely responsible for the tidy removal of broken objects that could not be repaired.
13. We would also hope to have a healthy atmosphere at our event and request all participants/visitors to bear with any delay or unavailability.
14. Fees for participation is Rs. 300/- only …you can register couple of items
15. List of things that will be fixed This is only a sample list and not an exhaustive one.
