Bringing the things of Moira back to life!

Repair Cafe Moira is a community repair event open to everyone which operates on a donation basis. Enjoy teas, coffee and freshly baked treats while our volunteer fixing team show you how to repair your items including clocks, electronics, electrical items, lamps, small furniture, bicycles, sewing repairs, toys, upholstery, sick plants, ornaments, tool and knife sharpening.

Our aims are to save items from landfill, normalize repair, make repair accessible to everyone, improve repair skills among the community and to have a great time in the process.

A volunteer-run pop-up community repair cafe in Moira, Co Down, Northern Ireland that runs events every 2 months in Moira Primary School. We help community members fix their electrical items, electronics, clocks, small furniture, toys, dolls and teddies, jewelry, ornaments, bicycles, sewing repairs, upholstery and ailing plants and we also sharpen tools.

We warmly welcome new volunteers who would like to help with fixing things, help in our cafe and at our welcome desk.
