Thank you so much to all those who came along to repair items at our April repair cafe in Wanstead. Our next repair cafe is Saturday 14th June 2025 - 10.30-1pm.

If you are free on Saturday 14th June and would like to repair items, please let us know as soon as possible.

Wanstead Repair Cafe is a brand new initiative set up by local resident Lydia Fraser-Ward in partnership with Christ Church Parish and Wanstead Climate Action.

We are supported by the London Borough of Redbridge and the East London Waste Authority, and are delighted to be working with repairers from the Restart Project for electrical fixes. We will also be working with Trailnet to provide bike MOTs and local volunteers to offer garment and other minor sewing repairs.

As a volunteer-led project, we welcome help and support! If you have repair skills or would just like to help out with the general running of the event on the day, we would love your help! Please get in touch with us to find out more: wansteadrepaircafe@gmail.com
