Repair Café: Flitwick Village Hall
Saturday, 12 July 2025
13:00 – 17:00
13:00 – 17:00
A Repair Café is a free, volunteer-run event where knowledgeable repairers help visitors to fix their broken items. Why throw something away when it can be brought back to life with just a little help?!
The Repair Cafe will run from 1-5pm on Saturday 12th July at Flitwick Village Hall where there is plenty of free parking. Turn up any time between 1-5pm and one of our clever volunteer repairers will see if they can get your item working again. Admission, refreshments and repairs are free but donations are always appreciated to help us continue to run these events.
Repair skills available at this event include, amongst others:
* Small electrical items (excludes microwaves)
* Laptops/Computers (but not screen repairs)
* Watches; adjustment of mechanical and automatic movements, limited stock quartz battery replacement, diagnosis and advice
* Smaller leather goods that need repair or cleaning (not heavy repairs for footwear like re-sole)
* Minor bike repairs
* Electric Guitar cleaning, repair, re-wire and set up
Help us to prepare by letting us know a bit about you and the item that you'd like to bring by completing our booking form. If you have more than one item then please be aware that you may have to wait for another repairer after having your first item fixed in order to reduce wait times for everyone. Please fill in a separate form for each item.
There may be a bit of a wait at times but our volunteers will do their best to get to you as quickly as they can.
== Hosted by SHARE: Flitwick and Ampthill Repair Cafe ==
We're a group of enthusiastic repairers who meet up roughly every 3 months to fix broken things in Flitwick, Ampthill and surrounding villages. Details of our next repair cafe will be on our website www.shareflitwickandampthill.org
Do come along and see what we get up to - it's always a lovely event!
