As shown it is about 44 inches tall. Light can be made shorter by removing one section of the rod. Item was installed in our home when it was a new construction and is only about two years old. No issues with the fixture and wiring is intact.

I need one over 40" and I just need one that works as I couldn't pay someone to fix a broken one like the one I had.
