Lots of them! Most are imperfect (we usually wait until they fall from tree), but perfectly good for eating, cooking, or canning. Some are best suited for animal feed, as they were not picked up within a couple of days of hitting the ground, or we did not have room to refrigerate. There are 4 of these compost cones in pretty good shape on my street. They are set out on both sides of NW59th St. top half of hill between 1rst and third Ave. ( a couple blocks west of the zoo). most of them are in pretty good shape. So if you want to make your own compost in a rodent resistant system, these work great. If you for sure want one, I can set one aside. Right now they are up for grabs by anyone who drives by.
