Egyptian Wall Plaque (Bexhill TN39)
This large brass plate was made and decorated by hand at the Khan-El-Khalili bazaar in Cairo (circa 1989). It is quite weighty and measures 49cm / 19ins in diameter. It actually depicts a scene from one of the streets around the Khan itself. Very good condition. Cooden Drive collection.
