Scrap of cement backer board (Scotts Valley by Vine Hill Rd.)
Does anyone have a scrap of Hardy board or any other brand of cement backer board? It should be a quarter inch thick and be at least 28 inches long by 4.5 inches wide. Just checking before I buy a 3 foot by 5 foot sheet of backer board (which would be on Monday,) since I only need a strip that's 4.5 inches wide. Or possibly if you have a regular size sheet and can spare 4.5 inches off one end... But don't have an angle grinder to cut that off, I can bring my angle grinder to cut it off when I pick up. If you noticed I'm in the middle of nowhere on Hwy 17... But you happen to be anywhere in the San Jose area, I will be in the San Jose side of things on Monday. Thanks for reading and considering! EMPTY can: Oatey PVC purple primer (Scotts Valley by Vine Hill Rd.)
I need an *EMPTY* can that contained PVC purple primer made by Oatey. I have plenty of the purple PVC primer... I was planning on refilling my smaller can from the big can as needed, since the small can has the smaller applicator, and I mostly use smaller diameter pipes and fittings. But my small can developed a leak at the bottom of the can, so I had to throw it out. (Fortunately there was very little primer left in the can, as I had not refilled it yet.) Does anyone use Oatey purple primer for PVC pipes & fittings? If you do, when your can is empty, could I please have your empty can instead of you throwing it out with the trash? No rush... I can wait. The large can I have is the 32 ounce size. What I need is the 8 or 16 ounce size. Preferably the 8 ounce, (or smaller if Oatey makes a smaller size.) Available is a 5 gallon jug. Only ever contained water. However, the bottom is swelled out, so it does not sit flat, as you can see in the picture. I do not have the lid for it. If no one wants it since it does not sit flat, it will go into the #2 recycle bin. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I live in Scotts Valley If you’re in Scotts Valley or Santa Cruz/Felton/Ben Lomond/et cetera area, we’ll meet at the nearby Starbucks.
