This is a Brother colour printer, about 10 years old. It partially works, in that it prints out its own test sheet when you switch it on, but we can’t get it to talk to a computer at all. Also sometimes jams. Needs someone who knows about printers to have a tinker with it! Stockton Heath.

In the nineteen nineties, I borrowed a book from the Central Library about Art Deco Design of the Twenties and Thirties. I'd like to look at it again, but none of the libraries seems to have it, and all efforts to trace a copy online have been fruitless. It was a large coffee-table book. I can't recall the exact title, but it did contain the phrase "Twenties and Thirties." Bit of a long shot, but I assume the library withdrew it, and someone may have it.
