Vintage pressure canner (Near the Cupertino Library)
Promised
Vintage pressure canner -I don’t know that it’s still safe to use under pressure - however it could be safely used as a heavy pot and/or the other parts might be good to use in a more modern canner. Or someone might want it as a historical item. I am guessing that our neighbor, Mrs. Storm, an early resident of Cupertino, gave it to my mother- as I also found Mrs. Storm’s pamphlet on “modern canning”. The canner was probably last used over 40 years ago. We are moving soon- so I am posting in the hopes of finding it a good home.

Vintage cruiser women's bike (Quality Inn Capitola)
Needs major cleaning and resto, but this bike has great bones! It was love at first sight when I spotted this bike in someone's clear-out, but I have since come to the unavoidable conclusion that I fly back on Wednesday and I can't afford shipping. So, the best I can do is to make sure it finds someone. It is currently parked at Cyclepath Outfitters in Soquel, with the permission of Tony, the shop owner. It is free to good home, just message me so I will know she's found someone and I will take down the posting. Say hi to Tony while you're there. I only spoke with him briefly but he seems like a great guy.

Old magazines for a workshop (Monterey)
I'm teaching a workshop at Esalen this weekend where about 25 people will make collage vision boards, and we're short on magazines. Any kind works - nature, travel, home, food, art, fashion. National Geographic is a favorite, but a stack of anything with good photos is perfect. I'm in the Monterey area Tuesday and Thursday and can pick up from you, or meet somewhere easy. Happy to take whatever you're ready to recycle. Thank you!
