I am a retired Advanced Lecturer in electronics. I am currently looking for computers and laptops that I can refurbish and gift to people who are not in a position to buy. Note: Microsoft's support for all Windows 10 versions ended in October 2025 (however, if you pay £30, minimum support can be extended for 12 months - this price doubles for each 12 months extension thereafter). Also, Microsoft's support for Windows 11 23H2 will end on November 11, 2025. If you are not sure which version of Windows is on your computer type winver in the search box and hit Return and it will appear in the summary that pops up, Suitable computers for donation are: Purchased in or after 2015. Windows 11 & 10 computers (that may or may not be Windows 11 compatible). Laptop or desktop tower (micro towers especially). I do not charge anything for my time or the computers that I gift so it helps if they are in working order. Many people remove the hard drive as a security measure though it is not always necessary. Microsoft gives advice and instructions on how to prepare your computer for donation. Just search for "How to Prepare Your PC For Sale or Donation" and select the Microsoft's Support Page. If you prefer, I can remove personal data (by securely shredding and formatting) before carrying out a total re-installation of the Operating System (Windows) in accordance with Microsoft's instructions. If it is not possible to re-install Windows, I install the Linux Mint Operating System. Demand far outstrips supply so I am grateful for donations. Thank you for your consideration.

Quite a lot of bunting. Mixed colours including red, blue and white with tartan and check. I haven't measured it but there's a good few metres. It's in a couple of bits, so not one continuous length. I originally bought it secondhand a few years ago and used it at Christmas.

Large glass tank 90cm long x 60cm wide x 45cm high. Suitable for a vivarium but not an aquarium; glass too thin to hold water pressure. Base cracked and repaired with sealant; will not show in use. Slight cracking to back wall. Chicken wire and perspex lid, with wooden frame. Two heater mats. Robust steel-framed trolley stand on casters. 100cm long x 65cm front to back x 64cm table height.
