Shade Trees in 5-Gal. Pots (Coachella Library)
Give a gift that keeps on giving! University of California Cooperative Extension’s ‘Trees for Tomorrow Start Today’ Master Gardener volunteers are partnering with the Coachella Valley Resource Conservation District and the Riverside County Library system to provide free shade trees for residents in the Coachella area (one tree per family, please). Trees need to be picked up on Saturday, May 3 between 9:00am – 10:30am at the Coachella Branch Library. Trees come ready to plant in 5-gallon containers and are drought, heat, and pest resistant. University of California San Bernardino County Master Gardeners will be onsite to provide planting and care information. Please pre-register to reserve your tree since we have a limited number of trees. You may also register using the QR code shown in photos on this posting.
