Women's cross country ski poles (Bayshore)
Swix brand cross country ski poles; 125 cm; suitable for someone 5'2" - 5'3". One strap has come loose due to crack in the grip. Apparently the grips can be replaced if you want to use the strap.

2006 Civic Owner's Manual (Barrhaven (Walter Baker Area))
Arguably this isn't as exciting as, say, the equivalent swag for a 1966 Pontiac GTO. However, if you do own a 2006 Honda Civic Sedan this may be useful. There are: - Owner's Manual - Quick Start Guide - Warranty and Maintenance Guide Act now, and you'll also receive - Motor Trend January 2006 Car of the Year Issue (winner was the Civic) - genuine Honda dealer's brochure (wow, that's a thing of the past I think, at least in the "economy car" segment)

two flimsy "table runners" (Britannia)
I was chopping these up for crafts fabric – this is the remains of my stash. Each is about 10" across and 35" long. Take one or both.

Free:
plug-in timer, unused (Britannia)
I bought this last summer, to plug my bedroom fan into ... but failed to realize it can only handle a two-prong plug (my big fan has three prongs). I can't think of another use for a timer, so it's just sat around gathering dust for many months.

Free:
basic backpack (Britannia)
This thing is quite lightweight, and I've replaced it with a sturdier model. Also the zipper on the outer pocket is broken, so I stichted it closed. It's clean and functional, though.

Free:
schlocky Dan Brown book (Britannia)
I've read it (against my better judgement), and feel no desire to add it to my permanent library. Somebody else can have it now.

Free:
various kitchen stuff (1 of 2) (Britannia)
All these things are surplus to requirements – I’m giving them a chance for a new home here, before shipping them off to the charity shop! 1) large glass jar, label removed (once held peaches) – seems too handy to just recycle! 2) empty red wine bottle (also no label) 3) two new green glass bottles, with corks – the kind you might use for vinaigrette (unused) 4) two small squeezable plastic bottles, bought for a craft project but never used 5) unused bottle brush, too large for the task I bought it for 6) set of four flat glass dessert bowls 7) set of four slightly deeper glass dessert bowls 8) decorative ceramic container, with lid 9) red plastic sieve/colander; nothing wrong with it, I just don’t have space for it.

various kitchen stuff (2 of 2) (Britannia)
All these things are surplus to requirements – I’m giving them a chance for a new home here, before shipping them off to the charity shop! 1) large glass bottle, label removed (once held juice) – seems too handy to just recycle! 2) small decorative tin for tea, cookies, etc. 3) excessively tall wine glass 4) Britta pitcher, slightly battered with age – needs a new filter 5) small pull-string chopper … like a combination salad spinner and blender 6) small non-stick frying pan – so small, it never gets used 7) larger NOT non-stick frying pan, best used for sauces etc. No room for it. 8) large spatula, barely used 9) ice cream scoop, ditto 10) nutcracker, ditto 11) small ceramic bowl for pate or dip

Free:
12 pairs of “queen size” stockings (Britannia)
Promised
In the depths of my wardrobe, I discovered a couple of hangers loaded with this long-forgotten collection of nylon stockings. I haven’t worn skirts since I stopped having an office job (also stopped having a waist). These would fit a 14-16 lady. I’m now much too fat to fit into them, being more like a 22! I’ve laundered them all, and checked for rips or tears – they’re in pretty good shape. Various colours, as shown.

Free:
several dozen scraper blades (Britannia)
I bought these on Amazon recently, failing to notice that I was ordering not a ten-pack ... but a box of a hundred! I can lead a long and scrapy life, and never need this many. If you'd like to put dibs on a dozen or so – or even just half a dozen – I'm happy to split them up for people.

Free:
(slightly bust) ladies swim fins (Britannia)
I've worn these things for many years, to swim in the river; but last summer, apparently my feet got too big – one of the fins split down the heel. I was planning to repair it with superglue and a leather strip ... but since they're now too small for me, I figured they'd just break again. My shoe size WAS 8.5, and that's what these would fit comfortably – if you feel like fixing them. I know swimming season seems like a long way off!

Free:
light plastic loo lid (Britannia)
Promised
My landlord recently replaced mine, so this is surplus to requirements. It's perfectly clean and functional (if a bit unexciting).

Free:
basic hairdryer (Britannia)
Promised
This has been tucked inside my suitcase for many years, as an "emergency backup" – but nowadays, I'm too poor to travel! And I never have the patience to blow-dry my hair anyway.
