I have managed to obtain (from a VERY nice gentleman) a Vax wet & dry vacuum, but I really need a set of tools and the hose/tubes for it. So, if anyone has a Vax w&d which is broken/burnt out then I could really do with the rest of it! Sony Mini HiFi Component System MHC-881 Needs Minor Repairs (Bournemouth BH1)
This nice hifi has not seen a great deal of use, but it has a couple of fixable faults. Cassette players are not fully working - this is almost certainly as result of the drive belts going. These should be available online. The CD changer is misbehaving and probably need some kind of adjustment. The amplifier and tuner are working fine, as is the remote control. One of the cassette decks was able to play a tape, but I wouldn't trust it with the old drive belts. Speakers are not included.
