Altec Lansing wired PC speakers (Lower Wick WR2)
A pair of mains-powered Altec Lansing (Gateway 2000) ACS41 wired PC speakers. They use a standard 3.5mm audio jack which plugs into your device's audio socket. The two speakers are joined by a cable to make a stereo pair. They are not Bluetooth. After all these years they are no longer the same colour as each other. They sound pretty good, with reasonable bass for their size, and will be much louder than a typical laptop's speakers. Tested and working. I operate the Fair Freegle policy.

A friend has recently had some decorating done and the backing plates to his 2 smoke alarms have gone missing, the alarms are still in date for another 4 years (a waste to bin them), SO an extremely long shot does anyone have 1 or 2 of these particular models lying around? perhaps just out of date and on their way to the bin or tip? Only the backing (fixing to the ceiling or wall) plates are needed but if you have the whole thing then I will recycle the main part. Thanks

Measures 17.5 inches wide, 17.5 inches tall and 13.5 inches deep, and comes with a hood with sockets for two strip lights. Needs cleaning and sterilising, but very serviceable after that; would suit a community of about ten small tropical fish - formerly owned by my employer’s landlord, I would adopt it myself but have no room for it. Thanks

12 empty steel tins/containers 14.5cm tall and 9cm diameter (Diglis WR5)
12 empty Illy coffee jars made of steel with a steel and plastic lid. Not an air tight seal so not suitable for perishable items. The tins are thin steel and not galvanised so rust easily and dent easily. Some have slight marks and dents but noting substantial. Tins measure approx 14.5cm tall and 9cm diameter. All have been washed but still retain a residual smell of the coffee beans they once contained. Some more than others.

It's still in good condition, I washed it after the pictures were taken, due to this most of the patterns have disappeared. It doesn't have a rain cover either. But it's a 2-in-1 so the carry cot also turns on the seat. The hanging clip on the handle is no longer there, I misplaced it when cleaning
