I'm in search of a dishwasher. Color doesn't matter as long as it works. My dishwasher has been broken for about a year now. We've tried to fix it ourselves but no luck. I can't afford to buy a new one. I'm thinking maybe our water bill has gotten higher partially due to a family of 6 washing by hand. This belonged in a frame I bought for a print I wanted to hang, but I don't like the glossy look of the glass over it, so I'm leaving it out. Can anyone use it for a craft or home decor, before I toss it out? The glass is fairly thick--I'd say between 1/8 and 1/4 inch--and I don't see any flaws. Would love to see it used for something.

I know this is a very long shot, but hate to throw out! My son and his dad were in an organization called Indian scouts in Park Ridge years ago. There are many patches that were rewarded for activities. Material is denim and size is probably a boy's large or extra large. Patches are sewn on and easily removed. The Little Pony stitching is not. Any takers????
