Child's Stairgate (Pipers Ash CH2)
The gate has never been used by us. It was passed on to us, and our circular newel post prevented us being able to attach it on one side. See the photo of the gate - the gate doesn't meet the frame at the top. However the instruction manual seems to show this, and gives their illustration a tick. (See photo.) So we're not sure how it works. There's a bag of screw fixings, to adjust its width, and make it fit the space. (No screws, rawl plugs, etc included.)

This is a 3m parasol which has been in the garage for a while so needs a wipe. We had some trouble with it getting stuck when winding it out but it seems to have righted itself. The top half, which is heavy, screws into the bottom part and needs someone strong or, preferably, two people. The base, as you can see from the photo, has lost its rubber edge. Not sure if it will go back on but it doesn’t affect the parasol. Obviously, it’s not a free-standing parasol and needs to be in a suitable table for safety and stability. Hopefully, we’ll have a good summer!
