CANTON CD50 CENTER SPEAKER The series of CD speaker systems from Canton is developed extremely well, among which there are even wireless active speaker systems and three full 5.1 sets. CD50 takes middle position. They are made by 2,5-way scheme. Polished metal was used as material, but not without plastic - upper and lower ends of the body are made of it. Canton CD50 is equipped with the tweeter of 15 mm in the diameter, four 80-mm drivers are used for MID/LF-range and all speakers are made of aluminum. From the top the drivers are covered by not removable metallic mesh, which, nevertheless, does not prevent you to see speakers. Each speaker system is equipped with small screw terminals, not supporting "banana" typed connectors. Any of CD50 speaker system can be used as the center or satellite. Wall mounting as well as mounting on stand are provided. The speaker systems are available in two versions - light silver and elegant black. CD50 plays in a very pleasant manner. The pair does not pretend to considerable tonal depths, but at the same time it plays different musical and movie material expressively, purely and emotionally. The sound does not differ by "tropical" rave of colors, its flavor is a little dry - in the style of modest native German landscape. CD50 perfectly articulates speech and voice fabric: diction is always clear and accurate. Voice timbres are well formed. Canton CD50 gives melodic, graphic structure of sound very graphically, especially at the work with different genres of electro music. Loudspeakers have a good dynamical resource. Canton pair arranges the front edge of sound stage quite close to listeners. Their sound perfectly fits for rest with family or friends: it is tireless, has good background features.
