My friend has disability & has a tremor in her shoulder and a weak arm, making it difficult for her to get up out of her current armchair. She needs a riser recliner, but was in the past turned down for PIP more than once, despite being diabetic, having treatment for heart failure, and being dependent on a walker to go out. She recently had a fall at home, and was on the floor for hours, until her son found her. She doesn't want me to do a referral for an OT assessment to see if she can get one through the system due to the stress, so if anyone knows of a riser recliner chair being given away please can you consider her? She would need it delivered to a downstairs flat in the Meadows - a big ask, a long shot. Thank you!

I think it would be great as a kids sandpit though - but a tarp from Aldi (currently in store for £3.99 put the raised bed on one side of it fill with sand and when not in use cover over with other side of tarp. Alternatively prove me wrong and grow something in it
