Bookmarks (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Wide variety of bookmarks, only part of them shown here. Also have some arguably-vintage ones from various bookstores, including the local beloved but defunct Borders. Different sizes, thicknesses, conventional plastic-coated or truly recyclable/compostable. Take as many or few as you like, or I can put together an assortment based on your stated preferences. From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free:
Green plastic capo (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Bright-green plastic capo with black synthetic “rubber” cushioning and metal hinge. It’s adjustable with a pretty wide range of motion, but I haven’t been able to get it to work quite right with my guitar. Maybe someone else will have better luck! From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free:
Natural seed pods (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Used these decoratively and for sensory enjoyment. Can be used as rattles, for nature education, and in any compostable craft project. Seeds inside may also still be viable. I believe these are from a native species of honey-locust tree, so no need to worry about spreading invasive species. The seeds inside tend to last even longer than the outer pods, look like adzuki beans (smallish and brown), and can also be used for eco-friendly crafts or decoration. No worries if no one wants these (you can probably even collect your own), but figured to offer before mulching them! If you notice a tiny bit of fuzz in the photo, it’s just from them being close to milkweed fluff. From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free:
Compostable produce baskets (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Paper-pulp vented containers, great for holding even fragile produce like berries or tomatoes - also for crafts, drawer organizers, holding plants/seedlings with tight-packed soil, etc. As the photo shows, even the different sizes stack nicely. Some have slight staining. If in the future any gets too damaged to use, it can be torn up for mulch, or composted in backyard or city bin. Take as many as you like (including all). From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

12d
Free:
Twist-ties and bread-bag clips (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Twist-ties in a variety of colors and sizes, originally for holding organic produce but can be used to secure any number of things, as well as in toy-making or temporary repairs. Bread clips are the flat plastic kind that comes with store-bought/salvaged bread, not the spring or clamp kind. From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

12d
Free:
Large envelopes, filing folders (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Variety of big envelopes as for mailing or storage - used and unused, padded and unpadded. Mostly Manila envelopes, mostly full-page-sized, but some smaller. Also a stack of 100%-uncoated-paper folders as often used in filing cabinets. Mostly the tabs already have writing on them, but it’s mostly in erasable graphite pencil. Please specify what/how much you want (including all of them). From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free:
Blue 3-ring binder (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
3-ring binder, metal rings aligned and secure. Outer part is blue (brighter turquoise than the photo shows) plastic, made to be somewhat floppy rather than rigid. From home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free:
Digital watch (works, broken band) (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Black-plastic-and-metal Marathon water-resistant wristwatch with broken wristband. “Old-fashioned” in that it doesn’t connect to other devices (bonus: no surprise collection of personal data!). “New-fangled” in that it’s digital, shows day and date as well as time to the second, and has multiple settings. Watch part itself is sturdy, and still works great. As shown in the photos, unsuccessful attempts have been made to repair the wristband. If you just want the broken-off end with the metal clasp for some kind of project, that’s also possible. From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

13d
Free:
Zippered synthetic carrying pouch (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Zippered carrying pouch, excellent condition. Synthetic black material, solid on one side, mesh on the other. Approx.: 12” long, 5” wide, 3/4” thick. Free:
Denim jacket (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Ripped and faded jean-jacket, found/salvaged and thoroughly cleaned. Still stylish in an edgy/punk way (also great for something to add political patches to, if you’re into that). No tag, but probably cotton denim and adult small or medium. Real-metal riveted buttons. Totally fragrance-free/nontoxic (priority to same, but feel free to reach out regardless!).

13d
Free:
Cut-off cotton T-shirts/screenprint (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
First-come-first-serve for any cut-out screenprints alone; priority to those who need very-low-fragrance/-toxin for full (cut-off) T-shirts. All of them have 100% cotton fabric, but screenprints, tags, and maybe thread unfortunately aren’t ultimately compostable. If anyone wants just the screenprinted part(s), I can cut those out whatever size/shape you’d like! Or take entire T-shirt(s). More details available about any of them, including nontoxic info. These came from a thrift store c. 2018, so they may have residues from that, but are MUCH better than conventional laundry products now! (Sorry some are potentially offensive, they were chosen for a craft project just based on color.) - red cut-off cotton T-shirt with screenprint of blue word “Sharks” (probably adult size large or extra-large) - orange cut-off cotton T-shirt with screenprint of large capital letters with pictures in them (adult size large) - kelly green cut-off cotton T-shirt with screenprint of letters (adult size small) - deep blue cut-off cotton T-shirt with screenprint of letters & motorcycles (adult size medium) - dusky extremely-blue cut-off cotton T-shirt with screenprint of letters & blurry picture (adult size medium) - pink extremely-cut-off cotton T-shirt with screenprint of smiley faces (one playing tennis) and small letters (adult size extra-large) - various screenprint scraps (letters/phrases, leprechauns & shamrocks, motorcycles, etc.) (Separately, have polyester/cotton-blend shirts available for those who want something to wear while using messy non-compostable materials, like most paints.)
