It's fully working, as you can see in the photo with it on. However, I managed to bend the pole and I've put black tape round it so you can't see the joint. It will straighten up (see the two photos) if done by someone with more patience than me, and the room to do it as it's quite tall. The nut that holds the base on needs tightening, because tbh I can't be bothered to get my tool box from the back of a big cupboard. It's been dismantled in my small bedroom for months and I think it needs a new home.
