This type of image uses lenticular lenses—a layer of plastic with tiny ridges—to display two or more images that shift depending on the viewing angle. It creates the illusion of movement, depth, or image changes, like the transformation from Jesus to flowers in these pictures. These were especially popular in religious art, novelty items, and even old-school postcards or bookmarks. The can is for scale, as I don’t have a ruler handy.
