Kitchen Cart and Granite Top (NE Ann Arbor)
Promised
We are offering a kitchen cart and a granite top for it. Neither piece has been out of the box since we bought them from Home Depot for a kitchen remodeling project for a previous home a couple years ago. These pieces are unassembled, roughly Ikea-style. The granite top surface is in a box 6" thick x 23" wide x 49" long. The body of the rest of the cart is in a box 14" thick x 20" wide x 49" long. This is a pickup-only deal. We cannot offer delivery or assembly. Both boxes will be given away together. Plan on bringing one or two people who can move a 90-pound box from the floor into something that will carry both boxes. For comparison, we have carried them together in the back of a Ford Escape with its back seats folded down, and in the bed of a Ford Maverick pickup truck.

Bookmarks (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Wide variety of bookmarks, only part of them shown here. Also have some arguably-vintage ones from various bookstores, including the local beloved but defunct Borders. Different sizes, thicknesses, conventional plastic-coated or truly recyclable/compostable. Take as many or few as you like, or I can put together an assortment based on your stated preferences. From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free:
Green plastic capo (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Bright-green plastic capo with black synthetic “rubber” cushioning and metal hinge. It’s adjustable with a pretty wide range of motion, but I haven’t been able to get it to work quite right with my guitar. Maybe someone else will have better luck! From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free:
Natural seed pods (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Used these decoratively and for sensory enjoyment. Can be used as rattles, for nature education, and in any compostable craft project. Seeds inside may also still be viable. I believe these are from a native species of honey-locust tree, so no need to worry about spreading invasive species. The seeds inside tend to last even longer than the outer pods, look like adzuki beans (smallish and brown), and can also be used for eco-friendly crafts or decoration. No worries if no one wants these (you can probably even collect your own), but figured to offer before mulching them! If you notice a tiny bit of fuzz in the photo, it’s just from them being close to milkweed fluff. From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free:
Mini Styrofoam Coolers (Maumee, OH)
Small coolers perfect for picnics, parties, family gatherings and camping.

Free:
Compostable produce baskets (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Paper-pulp vented containers, great for holding even fragile produce like berries or tomatoes - also for crafts, drawer organizers, holding plants/seedlings with tight-packed soil, etc. As the photo shows, even the different sizes stack nicely. Some have slight staining. If in the future any gets too damaged to use, it can be torn up for mulch, or composted in backyard or city bin. Take as many as you like (including all). From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

12d
Free:
Twist-ties and bread-bag clips (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Twist-ties in a variety of colors and sizes, originally for holding organic produce but can be used to secure any number of things, as well as in toy-making or temporary repairs. Bread clips are the flat plastic kind that comes with store-bought/salvaged bread, not the spring or clamp kind. From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free:
Large envelopes, filing folders (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Variety of big envelopes as for mailing or storage - used and unused, padded and unpadded. Mostly Manila envelopes, mostly full-page-sized, but some smaller. Also a stack of 100%-uncoated-paper folders as often used in filing cabinets. Mostly the tabs already have writing on them, but it’s mostly in erasable graphite pencil. Please specify what/how much you want (including all of them). From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.
