Violin - please read carefully (Walkley S6)
3/4 size Skylark violin. Please note that this is NOT in playable condition at present - the neck is coming apart from the body (see second picture) and would need re gluing with specialist glue. This would need to be done by a specialist and would probably cost more than buying a comparable instrument second hand or even new (Skylark violins retailed at Ā£25.00 new in the 1980sā¦). No bow or chin rest, and would also need restringing. The case does not close securely either. But if you are a trainee luthier who wants something to practise your repair skills on, or a visual artist who wants it for a project, get in touch. Priority will be given to someone who can collect by 14th August.
