While they could be used to continue the good work of CPR training (you'd need the lung 'bags' and the latex faces though- they'd be equally happy being curios in a display, stars of Halloween, etc- but not recommended as 'passengers' so you can use 2+ traffic lanes at rush hour).

Was working when put away a dozen years ago, but have not been able to test it if still works - was stored under the bed in a box, so kept warm and dry.

The lid does not spring open anymore. To fix this you will need to open up the lid mechanism and fix it - need to melt the plastic studs that hold it together and then see if the spring can be realigned or other fixes are needed. Beyond my skill-set.
