good solid piece of furniture bureau as you can see it is very beautiful piece. I will look good in any room or decor now looking for a loving home would need own transport and someone to help to lift it out very compact bureau unlike some are very big and bulky as you can see this is very neat and will fit in any small space

Vintage Noizy Chef pot boiling indicator (Keswick CA12)
One of these was recently sold on Etsy, described as follows: Clear vintage "Noizy Chef." Made in France. Solid glass. "A nifty little kitchen gadget- it is supposed to rattle in the bottom of the pot when it reaches a boil. Handy for the visually impaired - hear the water boiling and simmering. The different temps should rattle at different speeds/sounds. I've never actually tried it - but it looks neat. Has a little curved section on the top rim and bottom rim. Sometimes these are sold as ashtrays - and the curved sections would probably make it possible to use it as an ashtray -or even a chopstick rest or paint brush rest. Weighty enough to use as a paperweight. Approximately 3.25 inches across."
