The mechanism is working well but ideally needs string replacing - I tried and it does work ok but it's not brilliant. You will need a spike to put it in the ground or a parasol base perhaps.

Hello all. I have three bits of old china to give away. First is a T G Green platter in reasonable condition, a bit crazed but still functionable. Second is a Limoges fish platter with a chip on one edge. Third is a tureen with no lid also with a crack. Could still be used for non-hot food, or even a planter. Apple for scale in pics.
