Does anyone have a styrofoam block that could be used to help with support while cutting a piece of marble (maybe 3x3’ or 4x4’)? Or better yet, would anyone be interested in helping me cut a piece of marble? I can rent the tools if I need to, and I can buy the styrofoam if nobody has it - I just don’t know what I’m doing. * I got a free piece of marble and wanted to protect a cabinet top in my kitchen with it. It needs 2, maybe 3 straight cuts to fit. (Sorry if this is a ridiculous post. I just got excited about the free marble.)

Board games (Terra Linda - San Rafael)
The Terra Linda Game Night has a clearly marked table of free games - some for kids, some mass market, some recent designer modern games. We meet on the fourth (and fifth, if there is one) Friday of each month. We are at 620 Del Ganado, San Rafael, in the Christ Presbyterian Church, across from Scottys, from 6 pm to about midnight. There are 6-11 tables running games in recent months, always some food on hand (feel free to bring a side or snack to share, but don't feel obligated) and dining and a grocer across the street. There will be a copy of Pandemic, I think, this week, as well as several other games, free to take, on the marked table. Note there is also a large library of games to PLAY on the library carts that are not free to take, just to play and return. This game night is open to all, feel free to drop by and play after you pick up your games.

I'm looking to try some recommeded instruments to see if they are more accessible for some of our participants. If you have an unloved or unused autoharp, zither, hammered dulcimer, table top guitars, specialized electronic instruments like theramin, Arcana Strum, or anything else you think might be more accessible to people with grip, strength, range of motion, vision or cognitive impairment, please message me, I'd love to hear about it and perhaps take it off your hands. We are a 501 (3)(c) non-profit, so donations would be tax deductible. Also looking for unused Tobii eyegaze cameras for making digital music.

I found these and washed them in free and clear and I'm trying to repurpose. If there's interest, I can get a photo later. Also, there's a giant free stuff Giveaway Day at 45th & Webster next Sunday, 9/27, 10 am to 5 pm. Go by there as I understand there's a dumpster at 43rd & Webster on 9/28, so let's keep good stuff out of landfill. I try to check this e-mail 1x/day.
