We are a family with a young child (3 years old) who have recently moved into a private apartment in Maidstone. We are facing severe financial hardship and our home is completely empty. We urgently need the following items to set up our home: - A double bed with a mattress - Two wardrobes for clothes - A TV stand/cabinet with drawers and a small coffee table for the living room - Double and single duvets, pillows, blankets, warm sheets, and curtains/draperies Important note: We unfortunately do not have a car or a van, and my partner works very long hours every single day until 10:30pm. I am at home full time looking after our young child, so we have absolutely no way to collect or pick up any items ourselves. If there is anyone kind enough in the Maidstone community who has any of these items to give away and could possibly help us by delivering them to our flat, we would be eternally grateful. Large bulkhead lights, were the lighting in my workshop which I replaced with fluorescent tubes when a bulb blew. Although old and dated these are good quality diecast aluminium with heavy glass covers and ceramic bulbholders, they had 100w bulbs but show no signs of any heat distress. Will be junked by the end of the week

2 Seater Sofa - Detachable Back (Singleton, Ashford, Kent, TN23)
Comfortable 2-seater sofa available for collection. This is a very practical piece because the back supports are completely detachable, making it super easy to transport in a standard car or van and get through narrow doorways or tight hallways. It was a 3-seater sofa that I modified back in 2022 to fit my space. The middle section was removed, but the electrics were untouched and I have used it for 4 years since with zero issues. Visually it holds up great and the foam is still surprisingly firm and comfortable. Condition: Fair / Moderately Good. It is structurally solid and very comfortable, but the leather shows natural wear and a greyish patina in places. It will benefit from a quick wipe-down/leather clean (has some everyday scuffs/dirt marks around the base from feet). Dimensions (WITHOUT back support attached): 64cm (H) x 152cm (W) x 92cm (D) — once the back is clicked back on, it stands at its standard full height. Transport & Loading: 1) 1st floor flat collection. 2) I am happy to help carry it down the stairs with you! 3) Because the back supports detach, the frame is light, compact, and very easy to carry down a stairwell without bashing walls or doorways. Details: I have photos showing the sofa with the back removed, the two isolated back pieces, and a close-up of the metal locking mechanism so you can see how easily it clicks together. Collection only. Please message if you can pick it up! First person who can collect tonight/tomorrow gets priority! Note: I have decided to take this 2-seater to the waste centre if there is no taker by the end of the month September 2026.

I purchased this back in 1990's to protect my workshop computer, I used to take it to site when required. It did it's job on a number of occasions with poor site temporary supplies. It has stood unused for about 15 years. The batteries are dead and require replacing, there are four 12V 7Ah gel batteries which fit in three plastic holders and slide into the back. I was preparing to put this back into service and removed the batteries to replace them, but as the computers now are all laptops I feel the need is no longer there. This unit is the same size as a desktop tower 40x45x16cm and is heavy when filled with batteries, by the end of the week it will be junked.
