I've got disillusioned with my strimmer and found an old-fashioned sickle to be much more effective against weeds and long grass. A scythe would be even better, but the modern ones you buy have rather short handles. Does anyone have a proper, Grim Reaper scythe rusting in the shed? I am building a Japanese garden. An oil drum with the bottom cut out, primed with galvanised paint painted with bitumen and lined with geotext will prevent the spread of bamboo for 25-30 years. Short of using reinforced concrete, this is as good as one is going to get. Given I am 64... Anyway, I am looking for about o 10 × 45 L o 3 × 90 L o 3 × 210 L So even if you only have one or two, I would like them.

BaByliss Standing Hood Hair Dryer (Stoke Prior HR6)
This white BaByliss hair dryer is in working condition, but being quite old, it has some issues. The feet on it tend to fall right out, and so need to be re-attached when you stand it back up. It's been in the garage for some time, and has some bug dust specks on it (and general dust in its grooves). Also, the clear plastic visor is quite scuffed )see photos). Also, having been purchased in Italy, it has a EUROPEAN 2-PRONG PLUG, but I can probably dig up a UK adapter from somewhere if you ask me nicely.
