RepairProject Singer Sewing Machine (Parkside near Dunkin' Donuts)
Machine in good condition, with only one known problem. Has worked well for years. I discovered the issue after not using the machine for many months. This is a Singer 413 made in Scotland circa '71-'78. It was a cabinet mount but that's not available to gift. The machine, bobbins for it, numerous accessories including its original instruction book will all be provided. The problem is that the shaft that drives the machine's lower operations (bobbin/related) is without its gear. Machines of this vintage used plastic gears that have been subject to poor aging, and in the case of this machine, that particular gear is altogether out of commission. It's not that expensive or complicated of a fix - I'm just not going to take it on. Here is the part in question - other sources for it are of course available: And here's how to perform the fix: It's a solid machine, and the other gears look to be in great shape. It took me a while to find out what was going on, and I examined the machine in fairly close detail. Things are in surprisingly good shape for its age. This can be a front porch pickup once arrangements are set.

This refrigerator (made in 2004) is in good working condition (we are renovating and getting a new one). We don't use the ice maker/water dispenser, b/c we were not able to open the filter compartment to replace the filter. Other than that, we have not had any problems with it. Dimensions: 36"W x 34"D x 69"H. It doesn't fit through our doors, but we do have a patio door off of our kitchen (there is one step from the deck to the sidewalk). I have cleaned it, but there are some marks on the two lower door shelves of the refrigerator side that I couldn't get out. If interested, be sure to measure your doors! (you can probably remove the doors to get through) Hoping someone would be able to pick up before Monday, Sept. 21.
