Backing appears to be thick cardboard like you would see with IKEA shelves Comprised of three wider shelves 73 inch height x 31 1/2 inch width x 11 inch depth and two narrower shelves 73 inch height x 15 3/4 inch width x 11 inch depth Currently wall-anchored for stability, with baseboard area removed on the feet of the shelf to allow for flush positioning to wall. They appear to be separable to use the shelves in different places if needed
