Various items (DH9)
Imagine a father who has endured unimaginable hardship, fleeing domestic violence to protect his two young daughters. He’s found safety in a new home—a blank slate—but it’s just that: empty. No warmth, no comfort, no tools to rebuild their lives. His daughters, aged 7 and 8, are resilient but deserve the joy of childhood—soft bedding to snuggle into, toys to spark their imaginations, and curtains to shield them from the world they’ve left behind. This family needs the basics to turn their house into a home: cutlery for shared meals, a microwave for quick dinners, rugs to soften their steps, and throws to wrap themselves in comfort. Every item is a step toward healing, a reminder that they are cared for and supported. Can you help this father and his daughters start anew? Your kindness could be the foundation of their fresh start, bringing light and hope to a family that has fought so hard to find safety. Let’s make their house a home.

Wheelbarrow (Stranton TS25)
Looking for a wheelbarrow for our community garden in Newton Aycliffe. Can collect in Newton Aycliffe/Hartlepool/ Sedgefield. The garden is based at Avon Court Newton Aycliffe Retirement Living. The residents plant and tend vegetables and flowers. The heavy work is done by contractors - large lawns and hedges. Otherwise everyone is encouraged to have a go at something. If you have anything else that you think may help us - all items we purchased we raised funds for through various activities, gardening can be expensive- please drop me a line. Thank you Hazel 🌿

Garden tools (Overfields TS7)
I'm not as mobile as I'd like but love gardening. The front is Council 'maintained' and hedges were 2nd storey high. Would like a fork and rake. Already seeded 6' x 2' to wildflower seeds. Only a few more feet to go! Anyone with an hour to spare would also be more than welcome 🤗. Also any spare flowers. Thank you in advance. Trying to make the area a better place. 😁😁
