Hello.. my husband and I are finally by ourselves in a house after our roommates move out. When they do move out they will be taking everything as most of the items and furniture are theirs. I have some kitchen stuff and we have our bedroom of stuff except Dressers. But we need some other household items just to get us started with. I made these things out of old wood lathe from the plaster and lathe of my old walls. I believe the wood is cedar. I was going to use them for a project, and changed my mind. You could use them as wall shelves, or cat scratching furniture. They are sturdy- glued and nailed with copper nails, which I think gives it a nice look.
