White bench (kids sitting height) (Gilmerton EH17)
A used but good (one small part tends to pop out under the bench) white wooden bench is on offer. I was its first owner. It seems to be a combination of plywood and perhaps pine, it is not glossy in any case. It looks easy to be repainted to a colour of your choosing :) What I want to point out is that even though I got it for myself and it's comfortable adult size as for back support, the sitting level is rather low, so it's probably kids height as for sitting down and then getting up from it again. Probably not suitable for yourself if you are an adult with joint issues! However, if you prefer sitting close to the ground as an adult, this bench was made for you. Dimensions are as follows: Overall height 80.5 cm Sitting surface height 39.5 cm (!) Overall width 115 cm Sitting surface width 99.5 cm Overall depth 45cm Sitting surface depth: 42 cm It probably could be disassembled if needed, I'm just not sure how exactly - sorry, a very insecure DIY person here. I won't be able to help with lifting or carrying only cheer you on, so please bring a buddy with you. For collection only. These covers are not stretchy and will only fit the Hendriksdal chairs from IKEA. They don’t sell that style anymore. I still have the chairs but their covers are so faded that I can’t use these 2. Can anyone use them on their old IKEA chairs?

We currently have a large pile of wood chippings in our communal gardens that are too large to mix with compost, which was our plan for them. However, they are suitable for a variety of other uses - suppress weeds, bonfires, barbecues or fire pits or stock up for your wood burning stoves. While we have spread some over an area to suppress weeds, we are happy to give the rest away for free. For collection only, you will need to bring a suitable container and can take as much or as little as you need. We have wheelbarrows that you can use to transport the chippings to the garden gates.

Baby Rowan n Maple trees, Rosemaries, Blue Alkanets (Gilmerton EH17)

This is for those who want to add to their garden and are willing to do some digging. Very sadly, if not adopted, these plants will be eliminated by the next tenant. I hope I can find these beloved plants some good new home/s! :) Rosemary: about 2 large bushes, they should come out of the ground easily, they smell amazing. You are also welcome to come for just cuts if you don't need the whole thing. Baby Rowan Tree: circa five years old but it never went beyond the junior stage with me as I didn't put it to deep soil. I would say this one might be better lifted out by two people instead of one, or by one strong person and the right tool that you can bring with you? Baby Maple tree: this little guy is in a pot and has beautiful large green leaves that turn pink and gold at the end of each summer. The roots come down through the bottom of the pot so it can easily be re-rooted in soil at another location after lifting it from here. It can also be good if you want to plant it to soil without the pot. I would say a two-people lifting job. Blue Alkanet, also known as Pentaglottis: about 4-5 plants, in light soil, they should turn out easily with the right shovel used. PLEASE, BRING YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT, since all I have here are two small hand shovels and that metal thingie to scrape out the weeds from flower beds :) For collection only.
