Adjustable night light (Crestwood, NW DC)
This Leeo “smart” night light was made to listen for smoke and other alarms going off in your house and notify you when it heard them. The company went out of business in 2019, so now it’s just a nice LED night light, with a ring that lets you dial in the desired brightness. Plugs into an outlet.

Third photo shows it extended (and held by the vice grips just so I could take the photo before it retracted).
