Damaged art box for scrap wood (Catskill)
This art set box fell apart, but if you would like to use the pieces as scrap wood and the hinges as scrap metal, it’s right here for you. I can’t break off the plastic without shattering it into pieces further, so you will need to do that yourself.

Compost - From Lomi (Hudson, New York)
I have a lomi countertop composter and SO much dirt that I don't have a use for in my apartment. Please come pick some up! Will give you enough for just one potted house plant, or you can take it all in a 5 gallon container. Info on the compost it makes below from their website: Lomi dirt, also known as Lomi Earth, is the end product of the Lomi countertop composter. It's a nutrient-rich, dried, and powdered material created from food waste, designed for use in gardens and with houseplants. While it resembles potting soil or mulch, it's not technically compost in the traditional sense due to the shorter decomposition time and specific qualities of Lomi's process. Here's a more detailed breakdown: What it is: Lomi dirt is the result of Lomi's process of breaking down food waste into a usable material. It's not the same as traditional compost, which requires a longer decomposition period and specific conditions. How it's made: Lomi uses a combination of grinding and heating to rapidly process food waste into a usable form. The machine's sensors control moisture and temperature during the cycle, and a dual-filter system helps minimize odors. How to use it: As a soil amendment: Lomi Earth can be mixed into garden soil or potting mix to add nutrients and improve soil health. For houseplants: It can be used as a top dressing or mixed into the soil of indoor plants. In compost piles: Lomi dirt can be added to traditional compost piles to accelerate the composting process. Ratio: When using Lomi Earth as a soil amendment, it's generally recommended to use it at a ratio of 1 part Lomi Earth to 10 parts soil. Placement: It's best to bury Lomi Earth just under the surface of the soil to help it decompose naturally and avoid mold growth on the surface. Key differences from compost: Decomposition time: Lomi Earth is created much faster than traditional compost. Nutrient profile: While Lomi Earth is nutrient-rich, it may not have the same complex microbial community as fully decomposed compost. In essence, Lomi dirt is a convenient and effective way to recycle food waste and enrich your garden, offering a faster alternative to traditional composting methods.
