9” Flat TV (nonoperational) (Bryant Pattengill West)
SuperSonic brand black flat panel TV with stand, original power supply and remote control. The TV does not power on - some research has led me to understand that this model was built with unreliable solenoids, and this is a potential cause, though I can’t confirm as I’m not knowledgeable enough. This is why I’m offering the device for free; it’s possible the repair may be feasible, and if not there may be parts that can be salvaged.

Request:
Foam Backer Rod (Ann Arbor, Central Campus)
Recently I saw someone requesting Backer Rod, and I didn't know what that was. Now I am requesting some. It's cylindrical, foam to fill spaces before caulking over a gap or crack. Now I need some 3/8"-1/2 " Backer Rod to fill cracks before I caulk some gaps where my porch steps meet the vertical surfaces they meet at the ends. 6-8' is probably enough, but I'll be happy to pick up shorter lengths. Please let me know where and when I can pick up or if you can drop off 4 blocks south of the UM central campus.

Lawn mower - needs repair (S of Ypsi)
This lawn mower needs carburetor work. It runs for a few seconds after I spray starting fluid (ether) in the air filter, then it dies. Disclaimer: I pulled it off the curb on trash day, I don't know its history. It also needs and oil change, and one wheel is a bit wobbly. Easy driveway pickup, south of Ypsilanti near Textile and Whittaker.

Promised
Model SCX-4521F Prinyer, Scanner, Copyer, Fax I replaced this machine. Power cord includef, but you need to have a USB-A to USB-B cable to connect with your computer, or whatever equipment. Toner cartridge has been little used, and replacing it may solve a printing problem that produces 1" bands of unwanted, fused toner on the left and right side of a printed page. Please let me know what day and time you can pick up from my pirch.

📺 13” GE CRT TV model no. 13GP341 (Ypsilanti, MI 48198)
Great picture! No audio, but a home stereo is an easy workaround. The remote control and the antenna is missing. It has a rear coaxial port for antenna input and lacks RCA inputs. If using RCA connections, you’ll need an RF modulator, such as what’s already featured in most vintage VCRs (be sure to hit the TV/VCR button, which is sometimes only on the remote control). A stand-alone RF modulator can also be of use, if you’d rather not use a VCR. This GE 13GP341 is a 13-inch portable color CRT television model produced by General Electric, often sought after for retro gaming and vintage electronics collections. It is known for its compatibility with retro gaming consoles like Nintendo, Sega, and Atari. The television features a 13-inch screen and measures 14 inches wide, 16 inches deep, and 13 inches high. CRT TVs are highly valued for vintage gaming primarily because they offer virtually no input lag, providing an instant response between controller input and on-screen action, which is crucial for fast-paced games. This lack of lag, combined with their ability to natively handle the low-resolution signals from older consoles without digital processing, creates a more authentic and responsive gaming experience. A note on CRT TVs: Keep strong magnets and electromagnets away from the screen as they can distort and damage the screen. Even some VCRs have been known to be too magnetic to be placed on top of a CRT TV. Crossposted.
