Once again, thanks to the generousity of Freeglers who responded to my ongoing appeal, I am delighted to offer now THREE Apple 24” iMacs, each with the very latest version of Linux Mint, complete with keyboard and mouse. PLEASE NOTE THIS: I as usual, am aiming to give these ALL ONLY to disabled people (by whatever cause), those who are housebound, or persons on PIP, on low income or are unemployed/unemployable or are an SEN student, or parents with SEN children, so if you do NOT fit into these categories PLEASE do NOT apply. NO personal information given to me by applicants will be shared with anyone else. If you are housebound I will do my best to deliver a computer to you if you live up to 30 mins walk of my home in North Laines. I WILL WAIT for responses, and I will NOT decide on a first-come-first served basis. Also, be aware that I keep a short-list of applicants for upcoming donations. Currently I have 2 more computers in the workshop....

Hi, I'm looking for a replacement glass lid to replace a saucepan lid that a family member dropped on the floor. The damaged lid was approx. 18 cm but other sizes considered as I might be able to attach the new knob to the old one. The old one can't be used as the thread on the knob basically broke away from the plastic so there's just a big hole where you're supposed to put the screw. I wouldn't use super glue on anything that would come into contact with food. Thanks in advance.

Love the style. But these chairs need some care and attention. Metal legs could do with some hammerite-style paint. The seats and backs need a good clean. One patch of white paint on seat back. One rubber foot missing. Offered as a pair.
