I don't believe there is any added memory. I cleaned the scanner glass recently. You will want to understand the need for proper drivers to access the scanner functions.

Maybe for parts or scrap? Please read: the last time we used it, it made a popping noise and smoking out of the top (the food inside was not burning or even hot yet). It smelled like burning plastic.
