I'm hoping someone nearby will have some spare pieces of twin-walled polycarbonate, such as is used to make translucent roofs on garden buildings, porches etc. I have a plan to secure some crumbling old windows on the north side of our house, until we can get them replaced.

Would anyone like a very large brown/russet coloured phormium, or some part of it as they can be split? It's still in the ground and needs a sharp spade to slice off sections or dig the whole plant up. It's about 4-5 foot wide and 4-5 ft high, beautiful, but just too large for my garden.
