Beach umbrella (Beacon, NY)
Beach umbrella with faulty flex mechanism. The material is intact 100% and the umbrella expansion mechanism works perfectly. The problem is that a piece broke off the joint so it’s loose. The umbrella stays open and is somewhat straight but shakes a little in the wind. It would be such a shame to scrap it in to a land fill as the material is perfect and can be upcycled. And the umbrella is functional, just a little wobbly. See pics. In Beacon.
