Scaffold Pole (Spondon DE21)
Hi, We are hoping someone has a length of Scaffold pole lying around they no longer need and would be willing to gift. We need it to make legs (supports) for a doorway disabled ramp so that it doesn't have to rest on the UPVC threshold of the doorway. A scaffold pole normally has a thick wall (3+mm) and is galvanised, so quite strong and is protected from the elements. About 5ft (or more) should be enough for me to make the legs (and one or 2 mistakes :-) ). So if anyone has any that they would be willing to gift we would be very grateful. A potential up-cycling project for someone: Wooden stool - was once a chair, but not in the past 50 or so years. The seat has been covered with sticky back plastic, but I'm sure that could be removed. It is surprisingly comfortable to sit on - we used it as a piano stool for years.

Various pieces of wood. Most come from what was once a stand-alone bookcase, but this got dismantled and the wood used for wall shelving. The dimensions of the largest pieces are approximately 157cm x 30cm, but bits have been cut/chiselled away from when it was a stand-alone bookcase. Then there is a separate darker length of wood which is approximately 276cm x 11.6cm. Also some sections of chipboard and smaller bits of wood if interested. You will need a large car or van to collect, or be prepared to cut the pieces to fit your vehicle. Collection no later than 6pm Thursday 10th April

Doesn't keep time unfortunately. It looks like it's fine, but drops an hour every couple of days, so can't be relied on. Maybe someone would like it as a toy or for learning to tell the time? Or it could be fixed by replacing the mechanism? Appearance wise it's in great condition and v smart little clock. Has an electronic alarm (bells and hammer are decoration). Marvel Avengers toy clock with a hologram picture on the background. Has a new battery in (1x AA).
