This pillow is designed for sitting up or sleeping upright. It's made up of 4 separate pillows that can be put together in various ways to make you comfortable. Pillows attach to each other using velcro. Used for about 6 months after breaking my arm. Pillow is foam with a cover for each individual component. Each cover is fully washable. This is a well loved item that a friend passed on to my child. It works when it has a full charge (charger included) but the ride doesn’t seem to last as long as before. Kid can push the button to move the car forward and steer a bit. Or, it can be controlled by a button on the long handle behind it.
