Spare computers, USB drives (Northeast heights)
I am looking for computers to fix up and give away freely to the high school students where my wife teaches. Many are highly economically disadvantaged (she even takes food for them, because many come to school with no breakfast and no money for lunch). Looking for laptops, desktops, thumb/USB drives. Thumb/USB drives help while wiping the computer and setting up new software. Also looking for other computer parts to help when fixing broken computers. I have many, many computer monitors, so right now I can only take a few of the very most useful monitors with the right plugins to match the systems that I'm fixing up. Power supply units and cords are almost always needed. Sorry, I can't take phones, tablets, chromebooks or TVs. **If you're worried about wiping your data from your system, no problem. If the computer works, I can wipe it while you observe so you can rest assured your data is safely erased.** Please understand that I can't come get every computer and/or I might not be able respond right away or come get the computer right away. I work 60-80 hours per week and have limited storage space at home. I find a minute here and there to fix up whatever I can and get it out the door to the student.
