Adjustable Light/Magnifier/Holder For Intricate Work (Leigh Park BA13)
Metal stand with heavy base, holding 3 items on individual flexible stems - a light, a magnifying glass and a rubber-coated clip to hold items in place. It has a foot switch to turn the light on and off. It all works and the flexible stems are very firm and not floppy. It probably had a shade for the light, but this cannot be found and it does not seem to make much difference. Max height is about 6ft and the light slides down into the base to about 3ft min. The magnifier is in good condition and comes with its own little protective bag as in the photos. Not used much, but it does have some rust spots on the base, which would be easily removed. It has a French plug but we can leave the adapter on so it can be used directly to UK sockets, or you can cut it off and replace it with a UK one. Great for intricate painting, needlework or other that needs close and precise vision.

Request:
Cordless/petrol hedge trimmer/strimmer (Or Broken generator) (Pokesdown BH7)
Hi, I'm looking for a servicable cordless hedge trimmer and/or strimmer to tidy up the alleyway by where I live. ( It has to be cordless/petrol as the hedges/bushes/trees are over 150 yards from any power source.) A generator would solve everything, but they never seem to be broken,.. (do they?) I'm pretty mechanically minded, so even if it doesn't work I should be able to repair it! Who knows, it might even help me to start up a business of some sort? (Clearing gardens/repairing garden machinery etc!) Ta muchly, Reg
